Simplify the enigma that is the fetal heart. Learn the steps to fetal cardiac scanning with hands-on training on the state of art OPUS simulator. The learning of the hand/transducer movements to achieve all the basic and extended cardiac planes just as in real-life practice is an integral part of this course. This course will familiarize the delegate with cardiac anatomy in a stepwise approach as per international guidelines and standards. There is ample scope in addition, to gain skills to recognize abnormal cardiac anatomy as well.
It is mandatory to have a sound practical knowledge of scanning prior to enrolling for this course. Practice on basics, methodology of 2D scan, fetal biometry, fetal environment, and other fetal organ systems are not part of this course.
Attendance to part 1 is compulsory to attend part 2.
