Application process:GUP Onsite is a very good learning platform. Almost most of the topics were covered. The faculty taught us the nuances of gynae imaging. Gynaec Ultrasound Programme is a very good initiative taken by the faculty. GUP has helped me in upgrading my knowledge in Gynaec sonology. Precision was given to methodology, minute details of scanning, interpretation of scans. More than theoretical part they focus on practical aspects of gynaec scanning in step by step approach through images, videos and powerpoint presentations.GUP is very useful in day to day practice which changes our approach in managing our patients. With GUP learning does not end with completion of the course. They continuously interact, discuss and solve our doubts with patience through whatsapp groups. Faculty are very friendly and made our journey through GUP at ease.. They are very committed, have excellent in-depth and vast knowledge in this field. My heartfelt thanks to all faculties for bringing this course to us and to all my colleagues who made the course more interesting & interacting. Last but not least I would like to extend my thanks to course coordinators who were in constant touch with this and helped us a lot throughout the programme.
I had a basic exposure to gynec scans, but i knew, there is lot more that i can do with the machine. I was looking for a structured course, with a methodical systematic approach, with friendly, approachable, knowledgeable teachers with a passion and good teaching skills. I was looking at a course, which would not disturb my clinical practice. I would appreciate if the team could help me out in day to day difficulties, who can guide me on and off, when i require.....i came across this gup course, which was more than my expectations. GUP faculty is a wonderfull team very knowlegable, with excellent teaching skills, hell a lot of patience, eager to share all their hard work and years of experience to people like me. I am very happy to have registered for GUP, since I work in a mission hospital where radiologist is not available on all days (who comes once or twice a week) , me learning Gynaec USG has helped me do USG on my own in our setup & has lead to better management of my patients. I am able to have a better understanding of patient problem as I can correlate her symptoms,clinical examination findings and the USG findings. Teaching has been fantastic, all our doubts are dealt with lot of patience by our teachers/ mentors, they make sure that we have understood it. I thank them for such a wonderful program. A very informative and excellent initiative by bfmc.... when I heard about this.. my first thought was what would they teach us about gynae scan in 8 months.... but when attended the first class I realised that was I not doing justice to my patients in gynaec scan and that I need to learn a lot.... I am really grateful to the faculty for their immense hard work and dedication ...and they have made this topic so interesting.. I thank Dr. Pratima for bringing this to us..
The total outlook of scan has changed in just one class . I have become more programmed and methodical, my probe moves were very crude , I am being more patient not only in fetal scans,in gynec scan too….
